We consider the journal a yearly anthology.
Frequency: Once a year,
Subscription Cost: $14.00 For 2 Issues
Guidelines are in the issues

Pavement Saw was founded in 1993 under the auspice of usurping bloated journals who had fallen into mediocrity. Authors who were published in the journal have had those pieces re-appear in full length books recently published by Hanging Loose Press, University of Georgia Press, Green Integer, Tupelo Press, Four Way Books, La Alameda Press and many others. Each issue has a unusual theme which is inflicted upon the accepted contributors when published; usually we also have a featured poet that becomes famous and goes on to win the Walt Whitman Award, the Four Way Book Award, the White Pines Press Award, the NEA award, and other well known un-trophied prizes.

All of our yearly anthologies are perfect bound. The first was published in 1994. Pavement Saw has no numbering inside any of the journals. While we are against easily referring to pieces without re-reading the entire contents of our annual literary cannon, we will hand number the entire journal you purchase for a dime a page, including the contents page, if requested to do so. Below is a list of our literature defining yearly offerings:
